Cavaliers send West to Timberwolves for Sessions

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The post-Lebron James era is underway in Cleveland as the Cavaliers landed point guard Ramon Sessions and forward Ryan Hollins in a four-player trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Cavaliers, who also get Minnesota's second round pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, traded point guards Delonte West and Sebastian Telfair to the Timberwolves.

"In Ramon, we're excited to add a young, multi-dimensional guard, and with Ryan, we're adding a young, athletic center," Cavaliers General Manager Chris Grant said in a statement.

"We think both Ramon and Ryan are really good fits for this team. We're also happy to add another asset for the future with the additional draft pick."

Sessions averaged 8.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game last season while Hollins averaged 6.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists, all career highs.

James, the two-times reigning NBA Most Valuable Player, is joining fellow All-Stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh at the Miami Heat next season.
