WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Orlando Magic guard Vince Carter sprained his left shoulder during the team's 104-97 defeat to the Washington Wizards on Friday.
Carter slammed into a Washington player on the perimeter and laid on the court writhing in pain before leaving the contest for good.
Acquired in an off-season trade, Carter has been struggling as of late along with the Magic. The eight-time All-Star entered the night having missed 37 of his last 47 shots.
