LOS ANGELES -- The Milwaukee Brewers recalled right-hander Michael Blazek from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Sunday.

Blazek, who made two rehab appearances at Colorado Springs, was 3-1 with a 4.13 ERA in 25 appearances for the Brewers before being placed on the DL on June 1, retroactive to May 29, with a right elbow impingement.

The Brewers created a place on their 25-man roster for Blazek by optioning RHP Corey Knebel to Colorado Springs after Saturday night's 10-6 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Knebel was 0-1 with an 8.31 ERA in 5 appearances with Milwaukee.
