Braves' Justin Upton leaves game

Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Atlanta Braves outfielder Justin Upton departed Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies with a left triceps contusion.
The Braves say Upton's playing status is day-to-day.
Upton was hit on his left arm by a Kyle Kendrick pitch in the first inning. Upton grounded out in the fourth and was replaced by Ryan Doumit in left field in the sixth inning.

Upton is hitting .285 with 26 homers and 91 RBI in 133 games this season.
