Brandon Phillips homers in Reds' 7-6 loss to Rockies

GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) Brandon Phillips hit his first home run of the spring off Jorge De La Rosa but the Colorado Rockies hit two homers to down the Reds 7-6 Friday.

Phillips missed a game with a stiff neck Tuesday but started the Reds' scoring with a home run, leading off the second inning.

Minor leaguer Pat Valaika hit a three-run home run off Reds starter Raisel Iglesias, who pitched three innings. Christian Adames hit a two-run homer off Pedro Villarreal.

Tucker Barnhart had two doubles, including one that scored Jay Bruce. Zack Cozart had two hits and a walk.

De La Rosa pitched six innings, the longest by any Rockies' pitcher this spring. He allowed four runs on nine hits and two walks. He struck out three.

Tony Wolters and Rafael Ynoa had two hits each for the Rockies.
