Blue Jays outright 1B Lind to minors
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Toronto Blue Jays outrighted the contract of first baseman Adam Lind to Las Vegas on Thursday, two weeks after demoting him to the Triple-A club.
Lind, 28, was batting just .186 with three homers and 11 runs batted in over 34 games for the Blue Jays before being sent down May 17.
Left-handed pitcher Aaron Laffey was also optioned to Las Vegas on Thursday.
