Blemishes aside, Buffalo Bills are upbeat after 'imperfect' win over Dolphins

The Buffalo Bills were far from perfect. And this time it didn't matter.

For once, coach Chan Gailey found it a lot easier going over the blemishes in team meetings on Friday, because the Bills were coming off a 19-14 victory over the Miami Dolphins. It was a game that proved to Gailey that his team was finally capable of winning by overcoming its own deficiencies.

In snapping a three-game skid and winning for only the second time in seven games, the Bills (4-6) got a dominating performance from their high-priced defense to overcome an offense that continued to show a lack of finish.

The Bills now get an extended weekend break before returning to practice on Monday and preparing to play at Indianapolis on Nov. 25.
