The Big 12 regular season spans 15 Saturdays from August to December. It could easily go the distance before a champion is crowned.

With five weeks left, fifth-ranked and undefeated Baylor is about to face its toughest test when the Bears host 12th-ranked Oklahoma on Thursday night.

Baylor, which has won a school-record 11 games in a row, also has games left against Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Texas.

There are several big games left matching the teams from the upper half of the Big 12 standings.

No. 15 Oklahoma State still has to play Baylor and Texas, as does 25th-ranked Texas Tech.

Then there are the two potential blockbusters to end the regular season Dec. 7, when Texas goes to Baylor, and Oklahoma State hosts Oklahoma.
