Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek hope to extend their winning partnership in the Davis Cup as two-time defending champion Czech Republic changed its doubles lineup in a bid to overturn a 2-0 deficit against France in their semifinal.

Berdych and Stepanek, who boast a 15-1 winning record together in the competition, will face Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Richard Gasquet on Saturday after France captain Arnaud Clement also amended his team.

French duo Julien Benneteau and Gael Monfils had been provisionally named while Stepanek was initially set to partner Jiri Vesely.

The Czechs are favorites to win the doubles and keep alive their chances of reaching a third straight final.

France has won the Davis Cup nine times and is bidding to reach the final for the first time since 2010.
