Defensive tackle Devon Still got out of bed and headed right for Paul Brown Stadium. The Bengals called to say they were interested in adding him back to the active roster, and he wasn't going to waste time convincing them he was ready.

The Bengals promoted him off the practice squad on Wednesday. Still has been hurt and has been caring for his 4-year-old daughter, who is getting chemotherapy for cancer.

His family's struggle has garnered significant attention. The Bengals announced that they'll donate all proceeds from the sale of his No. 75 jersey to Children's Hospital in Cincinnati and to research into pediatric cancer.

The Bengals (1-0) play their home opener on Sunday against Atlanta (1-0).
