Bayern Munich to hold talks with Guardiola during winter break

MUNICH --
Bayern Munich will talk with coach Pep Guardiola about his future during the Bundesliga's winter break, club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says.
Guardiola has remained coy about his plans despite his contract with Bayern expiring at the end of the season. The club would like to extend his stay.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Rummenigge says, ''We'll have the talk after the opening half of the season. Then there will be a decision, and we will make it known either way - no matter what comes out of the talk.''
Guardiola led Bayern to back-to-back league titles after taking over Jupp Heynckes' treble-winning side in 2013, and has put the team on course for another after recording a Bundesliga-record start this season.
Bayern's last game before the winter break is on Dec. 19 in Hannover.
