Archie Bradley throws sim game, could return as early as September

Archie Bradley might make it back onto the mound for the Arizona Diamondbacks this season.
According to MLB.com, Bradley threw a sim game on Wednesday and a bullpen on Friday as he rehabs from tendonitis in his right throwing shoulder.
General manager Dave Stewart said that the 23-year-old righty could return to the team as early as September.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A first-round pick in the 2011 draft, Bradley has had a rough landing since being called up to the majors by the Diamondbacks for this season.
While he got off to an excellent start with a 2-0 record with a 1.80 ERA in April, Bradley gave up four or more earned runs in each of his four ensuing starts after coming off the 15-day disabled list for a sinus fracture.
Following his struggles, Bradley was then placed on 15-day DL retroactive to June 2 for his shoulder injury.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}In his most recent outing on June 1 against the Atlanta Braves, Bradley was tagged for five earned runs and eight hits in five innings.
In eight starts this season, the former seventh-overall pick is 2-3 with a 5.80 ERA, 23 strikeouts, and 22 walks in 35 2/3 innings pitched.
