Anthony Davis had 28 points and eight rebounds to lead the New Orleans Pelicans to a 120-86 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in a preseason game Thursday night.

New Orleans (3-2) never trailed and used a 10-0 run early in the first quarter to build a 21-6 lead. Tyreke Evans, making his preseason debut, finished with 10 points in 20 minutes.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound Evans injured his right hamstring in late September and was initially projected to be out three to five weeks.

Thunder starters Kevin Durant, Kendrick Perkins and Serge Ibaka are out with injuries, and Russell Westbrook and Reggie Jackson didn't play because they were resting.

Jeremy Lamb led Oklahoma City (2-2) with 20 points.

Ryan Anderson had 17 points and Jrue Holiday added 14 points for New Orleans.

Pelicans guard Eric Gordon was ruled out because of lower back spasms.
