Anderson moves on at Acapulco

Anderson had no problems in his match with German Dustin Brown, taking a 6-1, 6-2 victory on the hardcourts at the Fairmont Acapulco Princess. Anderson was last year's runner-up to Grigor Dimitrov, this week's No. 3 seed.
Fifth-seeded Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov advanced with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 victory against Australian Sam Groth
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Seventh-seeded Colombian Santiago Giraldo thumped American qualifier Austin Krajicek 7-6 (10-8), 6-1 in the final match of the night, while eighth-seeded German Benjamin Becker took down compatriot Tobias Kamke 7-6 (7-4), 6-2.
Unseeded Australian Marinko Matosevic took down Spain's Marcel Granollers 6-4, 6-2, and Serbian Dusan Lajovic moved on with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) victory over Australian qualifier Thanasi Kokkinakis.
The top seeds here are recent Memphis titlist and 2014 U.S. Open runner-up Kei Nishikori and last week's Rio champ David Ferrer, who claimed three straight Mexican Open titles from 2010-12.
