Aaron Rodgers aims to improve in one specific area on offense

The Green Bay Packers showed some improvement on offense last Sunday. After the Denver Broncos completely shut the Packers down in Week 8, Green Bay's offense showed signs of life with over 400 yards against the Carolina Panthers.
However, there's still one key area of the game in which Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants to do better: third downs. Rodgers said he needs to be more accurate on the crucial down in order to keep the chains moving, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

Green Bay's offense is one of the NFL's worst units on third down. The Packers have only converted 31 of their third-down attempts this season (29th in NFL); their success rate is 34.1 percent (27th).
Rodgers completes a healthy 64.7 percent of his passes, but only 36.2 of his attempts on third down pick up the required yardage for a fresh set of downs, according to statistics that can be found at The Washington Post. His third down attempts will have to be more precise in order to keep drives alive, especially since his pass-catchers struggle to make plays on their own.
