PARIS --

Rennes' four-game winning streak ended Friday as the Brittany side missed the chance to go top of the French league with a 1-1 home draw against 10-man Lille.

Lille opened the scoring when Sofiane Boufal connected with a cross from the right in the 49th minute.

Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama was sent off for a foul in the 68th on Giovanni Sio, who tumbled to the ground.

Substitute goalkeeper Mike Maignan saved Paul-Georges Ntep's penalty but the French international made amends for Rennes as he leveled from close range 15 minutes from time after teammate Sio missed his left-footed volley.

Leader Paris Saint-Germain travels to Reims on Saturday.
