CBS' chief foreign affairs correspondent Lara Logan recently sold her Washington, DC, house for $1.8 million, reports Just DC News. The historic 1935 brick-and-stone home has been tastefully renovated over the years, notes listing agent Meg Percesepe.

"It's a very warm and welcoming home, done with a nod to the original Tudor style," Percesepe says.

The three-story home features oak hardwood floors, a cathedral-ceilinged master suite, two fireplaces, a huge master closet, and an updated kitchen with custom cabinetry. Out back is a rectangular saltwater pool surrounded by a stone tile patio.

"It's definitely a nice home in terms of inviting guests in and lovely for entertaining -- either way, it works," she says.

Property records indicate Logan bought the home in 2008 for $1.5 million. It's been off and on the market since 2013, although Percesepe says the lag time was more a matter of timing than the home being a tough sell.

"We had offers right in the beginning, but plans changed. It was more about coordinating" with Logan and her family, Percesepe says.
