Retired baseball player Jerry Hairston Jr. is following in his older brother's footsteps off the field. His brother (and fellow big leaguer), Scott Hairston, put his Arizona home on the market earlier this year.

Following suit, Jerry just put his home in Scottsdale, AZ, on the market for $2.05 million.

The 5,472-square-foot ranch home was remodeled in 2012, the same year Jerry bought it for $1.09 million. Built in 2003, it sits on just under an acre of land and was featured on HGTV's "Scoring the Deal." Richard Marquez is the listing agent.

The four-bedroom, five-bathroom home has multiple fireplaces, a chef's kitchen with custom cabinetry, stylish interior stonework, a theater room with three flat-screens, and an interior courtyard with trees.

Outdoors, there's a heated pool with slide, a kitchen with grilling station, a sport court, a putting green, and a children's play area.

Now that he's busy working as a broadcaster for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the 16-year MLB vet may not have the time to enjoy all of this home's amenities. Whatever the reason, this cool desert home will be a big score for a smart buyer.
