Wisconsin congressman endorses Rubio

Rep. Sean Duffy, R-Wis., endorsed Marco Rubio for president ahead of the fourth GOP debate in Milwaukee Tuesday night.

Duffy, who like Rubio is 44, invoked the Florida senator's relative youth as an asset.

"A lot of my colleagues, who are somewhere in their 30s and early-to-mid-40s have looked at, 'Who do you want to be the next representative of our party, the next leader of the country?'" Duffy said in the interview. "And we look to Marco Rubio as the guy who can who can inspire the country, but also as a Gen-Nexter who represents our morals and our values."

The Rubio campaign circulated Duffy's endorsement in a statement.
