College president tells students to carry guns
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The president of a private, Christian university is insisting students carry concealed weapons while on campus.
Liberty University's Jerry Falwell, Jr. told students during Friday's convocation he supports their Second Amendment right to bear arms and reminded them of a free certification class the available to those enrolled.
The remarks came after Wednesday's mass shooting in San Bernardino, Calif. where a man and woman killed 14 people at an office Christmas party.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}"It just blows my mind when I see that the president of the United States [saying] that the answer to circumstances like that is more gun control," Falwell told 13,800 resident students in Lynchburg, Va.
