Oscar prez accidentally nominates ‘Dick Poop’

First Adele Dazeem, now “Dick Poop.”
In announcing the Oscar nominations Thursday morning, Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs made a serious flub on the name of “Mr. Turner” cinematographer Dick Pope, mispronouncing his name as “Dick Poop.”
It didn’t take long for a clip of the flub to hit the Internet, though Isaacs quickly corrected herself, and “Dick Poop” quickly became a trending topic on Twitter.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}This is Pope’s first Oscar nomination, though he has a number of big credits, including “The Illusionist” and “Happy-Go-Lucky.”
