James Corden taps Britney Spears for 'Carpool Karaoke' video

Oops, he’s doing it again.
James Corden has booked Britney Spears for a ride in his passenger seat for the next version of his viral hit “Carpool Karaoke.”
The pop star’s ride-along will appear on the August 25 edition of “The Late Late Show with James Corden.” No word yet on which songs the duo will belt out.

Spears is set to release her ninth studio album, “Glory,” on August 26. The Grammy-winning singer has sold nearly 100 million records worldwide.
The last passenger to take a ride with Corden, First Lady Michelle Obama — who was joined by Missy Elliott — has racked up nearly 39 million views on YouTube. The wildly popular segment has also featured Adele, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Gwen Stefani among others.
The Adele outing holds the YouTube record for the most watched late-night clip with 121 million views.

Corden was recently nominated for an Emmy award for best variety talk show, among others.
