Hayden Panettiere to pay $4G in dog sitter suit

Hayden Panettiere has settled a lawsuit from what may be the most expensive dog sitter ever.
Tia Brooks sued Panettiere, 26, in July for $8,500 in unpaid services for caring for two dogs that the “Nashville” starlet rescued on top of the nearly $120,000 Panettiere already paid her. Brooks alleges that she cared for the dogs for six years.
The suit claimed that Panettiere offered to pay Brooks $30 a day until the dogs found permanent homes. Panettiere’s attorney, Marty Singer, countered that Brooks charged the actress to care for the dogs even after Brooks gave the pooches away.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Panettiere and Brooks reached a quiet settlement this week, TMZ reports. Panettiere will pay Brooks $4,250 — half of what the sitter claims she was owed — to finally get herself out of the doghouse.
