Eliot Spitzer, Kathleen Parker Announce CNN Show Name

Eliot Spitzer and Kathleen Parker have settled on a name for their new CNN show: Parker Spitzer.

In the announcement video posted on CNN.com Tuesday, Spitzer, the former New York governor who stepped down in 2008 after a prostitution scandal, jokes that he wanted Spitzer Parker.

And he doesn't bite on The Spitzer Factor, when she suggests it.

The pair also discuss about what the nightly roundtable discussion program will cover, including tax policy, which Pulitzer Prize-winning co-host Parker says she's "tired of talking about."  Then he suggests Mideast peace settlements and nuclear proliferation as topics.

"Do you see people's eyes glazing? I see people's eyes glazing," she says, laughing.

Parker Spitzer will debut Monday, Oct. 4 at 8/7c.
