Police are investigating after a 3-year-old was found in a car with the bodies of two gunshot victims in southwest Florida. The child was not harmed.
Fort Myers Police found a man and woman inside a car around 4 a.m. Tuesday at the Gulfstream Isles apartment complex. They were pronounced dead at the scene and apparently died from multiple gunshot wounds. Several shell casings were left at the scene.
Fox4Now.com reports the child was not harmed, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
It's unclear whether the child was related to the victims. The victims, who were found in the front seats, were not identified and no other details were released. Police were canvassing the area in search of any witnesses.
