The husband of a missing pregnant Virginia woman has agreed to "fully cooperate" with investigators from his base in Afghanistan, MyFoxDC.com reports.

Pvt. Emile Decker's wife, Bethany, disappeared on Jan. 29, a few days before he left for Afghanistan. The 21-year-old woman, who was five months pregnant at the time, has not been seen or heard from since.

Police in Virginia say Decker called investigators from Afghanistan, expressing concern for his wife and offering his full cooperation in the investigation, according to the website.

Authorities have asked the Army to send Decker -- a soldier with the National Guard -- back to Virginia for in-person interviews.

Investigators say Bethany Decker, a student at George Mason University, was last seen by a friend at the couple's apartment in Ashburn, Va.

Police say they found her car in the apartment's parking lot but have so far uncovered no sign of the woman.

Police described Decker as 4-foot-11 and weighing 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
