As he returns from a neck injury, Mat Latos won't be in the Los Angeles Dodgers' rotation.

Latos, who was skipped twice in the rotation in August, will be sent to the bullpen after missing his most recent start due to neck discomfort.

According to the Los Angeles Times, manager Don Mattingly said that fellow trade-deadline acquisition Alex Wood will start for the Dodgers on Wednesday in Latos' place.

Latos has yet to find his bearings in Los Angeles after being traded from the Miami Marlins.

The 27-year-old right hander is winless in five starts as a Dodger, failing to pitch five innings in his last four starts and allowing four or more earned runs in three of his five starts.
