Titans linebacker Zach Brown will miss the rest of the season with a torn pectoral muscle.

Coach Ken Whisenhunt said Tuesday night on his weekly radio show that the Titans hoped Brown might be able to return from the injury later this season, which would have allowed them to place him on injured reserve designated for return.

But Whisenhunt says unfortunately Brown will be out the rest of the season. He says they are disappointed because of the way Brown was progressing and now has this setback.

Now the Titans are looking at their options at linebacker. Zaviar Gooden replaced Brown in Sunday's 26-10 win at Kansas City.
