Lakers' Gasol suffers foot injury

Brooklyn, NY – Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol injured his right foot during Tuesday's win over the Brooklyn Nets.

Gasol landed on top of Brook Lopez's foot, but with his left. The 32-year-old Spaniard was holding his right foot in pain before walking off the floor under his own power.

Gasol was diagnosed with a plantar fasciitis strain, and will undergo an MRI exam Wednesday in Boston.
