Kevin Durant had 18 points, six rebounds and four assists in a little over two quarters of action as the Oklahoma City Thunder routed the Charlotte Bobcats, 114-69, at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Durant, along with the rest of the Thunder's starting lineup, sat out the majority of the second half after Oklahoma City had built an insurmountable lead.

Thabo Sefolosha finished with 14 points and Russell Westbrook contributed 12 points and 11 assists before also exiting in the Thunder's second straight win.

Hasheem Thabeet recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in a mop-up effort.

"Obviously one of the best games we've played on both ends of the floor," Thunder head coach Scott Brooks said. "It was a combination of a few things. We really played good basketball, passing and defending, and they had a bad night."

Jeff Taylor was the lone member of the Bobcats to score in double digits with 10 points in Charlotte's largest loss since the team's inception in 2004.

The teams traded baskets over the first four-plus minutes of action until the Thunder closed out the first quarter with a 24-6 run to carry a 28-12 advantage into the second.

Oklahoma City connected on 55 percent of its shots in the opening 12 minutes while holding Charlotte to just 29.4 percent from the field.

"Oklahoma City is a great team, and it got out of hand real quick," Bobcats center Byron Mulleins said.

The Bobcats' shooting woes carried into the second quarter, where they made just 3-of-20 shots en route to another 12-point performance.

Oklahoma City, meanwhile, bested its first-quarter output with 36 points on 64.7 percent shooting -- led by eight from Westbrook -- as the Thunder ran out to a 64-24 lead at the break.

The Thunder then emptied their bench for the majority of the second half as they cruised to the victory, carrying an 88-43 lead into the fourth quarter and holding at least a 38-point edge over the final frame.
