Madrid, Spain (SportsNetwork.com) - Real Madrid confirmed Thursday that midfielder James Rodriguez will miss approximately two months of action due to a break in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot.

Rodriguez suffered the injury in the 26th minute of Madrid's 2-1 win at Sevilla on Wednesday. He was taken to the hospital where scans revealed the extent of the break and that surgery would be required to repair the damage.

The Colombian superstar will miss Real's derby match with Atletico Madrid on Saturday, and the fitness of Sergio Ramos is also up in the air after the defender left Wednesday's contest with an apparent hamstring injury.
