On Saturday, No. 3 Towson and No. 4 Northern Iowa lost home games to conference opponents.

Villanova quarterback John Robertson was nearly perfect in the No. 15 Wildcats' 45-35 win over Towson in CAA Football.

Robertson, who won the 2012 Jerry Rice Award as the FCS freshman of the year, completed 17-of-18 pass attempts for 182 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries.

Villanova improved to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in the CAA. Towson fell to 6-1 and 2-1.

At Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois slipped past the Panthers, 24-17, on Malcom Agnew's 5-yard run in overtime.

UNI star running back David Johnson was held to 19 yards on 11 carries as the Panthers fell to 4-2 overall and 0-2 in the Missouri Valley Football Conference. SIU improved to 4-3 and 2-1.
