Santa Clara, CA – The San Francisco 49ers signed wide receiver Kassim Osgood to a one-year contract on Tuesday.
Osgood is a two-time All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowl selection as a special teamer.
The 33-year-old has played in 152 career games with San Diego, Jacksonville and Detroit, catching 44 passes for 749 yards with five touchdowns. He has also registered 122 tackles while playing on special teams.
Osgood played at San Diego University, where he caught 108 passes during his senior year, earning him First-Team All-Mountain West honors.
To make room for Osgood on the current roster, the 49ers waived wide receiver Joe Hastings.
