Nebraska has sold out the public allotment of men's basketball tickets six months before the Cornhuskers play their first game at their new arena.

The athletic department announced Friday that the only tickets left for next season are those that must be held back for visiting teams and about 100 student tickets that are expected to be sold soon.

Pinnacle Bank Arena in downtown Lincoln will seat 15,100 for basketball. The previous high for season-ticket sales was 12,000 for the 1992-93 season.

The Huskers were 15-18 overall and finished in 10th place at 5-13 in the Big Ten in Tim Miles' first season as head coach. Average attendance was 10,352 in the final year at the Devaney Sports Center.

Nebraska hasn't won a conference title since 1950.
