New York, NY – The New York Rangers signed free-agent forward Mats Zuccarello on Thursday.
Zuccarello had spent this past season with the Magnitogorsk Metallurg of the Kontinental Hockey League. He returns to the Rangers, with whom he spent two years prior.
The 25-year-old native of Norway registered eight goals, 18 assists and 10 penalty minutes in 52 career contests with New York from 2010-12.
