Francesco Totti scored as Roma beat Fiorentina, 4-2, at the Stadio Olimpico to overtake the visitors for fourth place in Serie A on Saturday.

With the match tied at 1-all after just 14 minutes, Totti took over with goals in the 19th minute and first-half stoppage time to lift Roma to its fourth win in a row.

Totti settled a pass and stabbed a shot inside the right post for his first of the match, and added a wonderful strike from well outside the box that hit the right side of the net in the first minute of first-half added time.

Roma never surrendered the lead, although substitute Mounir El Hamdaoui pulled a goal back in the opening minute of the second half for Fiorentina that left the result in doubt until Pablo Osvaldo scored his eighth of the season in the 89th minute to seal Roma's win.

Level on 29 points from 16 matches, Roma is fourth on goal differential ahead of fifth-place Fiorentina, which had a nine-game league unbeaten streak ended.

Atalanta 2, Parma 1

Bergamo, Italy - German Denis and Federico Peluso scored as Atalanta defeated Parma, 2-1, on Saturday at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia to snap a three- game Serie A losing streak.

Denis scored less than four minutes into the match and Peluso followed seven minutes before half, as Atalanta climbed into the top half of the standings in seventh place.

Amauri scored for Parma, which lost its second straight game and is ninth.
