Irving, TX – The Dallas Cowboys placed kicker David Buehler on injured reserve Thursday due to a groin problem.
Buehler, who handled kickoff duties in four games this season, re-injured his groin at practice Wednesday.
Rookie Dan Bailey will likely handle all of the kicking responsibilities, including kickoffs. Bailey has made 20-of-21 field goals in eight games this season.
To fill the roster spot, the Cowboys re-signed veteran guard Daniel Loper.
