GREG GUTFELD, CO-HOST: So, a South Carolina sheriff is urging women to get concealed weapons permits and carry a gun. Sheriff Chuck Wright said this after an arrest of a suspected rapist yesterday, telling women to pack a .45 because they would haven't to be accurate. Just close.

And it's true, guns do make a bigger hole than mace and unlike rape whistle, they provide instant ventilation. Wright even suggested keeping the gun in a fanny pack instantly making fanny packs cooler than they ever should be.

He's right, though. Remember, women possess far less muscle mass than men. So, a gun provides the equalizer that Mother Nature forgot.

And common sense tells you if you give a rapist a choice of who to rape, an armed or unarmed woman, who is he going to pick?

In my head is Smith & Wesson does more for empowering women than feminism ever could. Think about it. Right now, not a single feminist group is piped up about the toxic atmosphere at the "Occupy" protests where rapes and assaults go unreported all for the greater good.

So, maybe the true feminist icon shouldn't be Gloria Steinem but Annie Oakley.

The fact is, keeping a piece is the only way to keep the peace. So, get one to match your shoes.

BOB BECKEL, CO-HOST: Greg, before we get into this. Did something happen to you at the Occupy Wall Street? Did someone call you short? I mean, did somebody pee on you by mistake? I mean, you are so obsessed with these people.

Hey, he's bad enough. But you expect it from a right wing nut.

ANDREA TANTAROS, CO-HOST: But you wouldn't complain if someone called you short or peed on you?

GUTFELD: You know, that's a question for after the show, Andrea. I want to talk about --

BECKEL: OK. Let's go back here to the guns.

GUTFELD: Rate of Americans killed by guns has dropped 25 percent after the increase in conceal and carry laws, Eric.

ERIC BOLLING, CO-HOST: I love this. Sheriff Wright is -- he's right.

GUTFELD: I should have used that.

BOLLING: Not only that, can I apply it to today's news, that Governor Haley said they're being sued -- the state of South Carolina is sued by Department of Justice for their immigration laws. So maybe it's just making South Carolina safer place.

BECKEL: Oh, yes, it's great place.

GUTFELD: I don't know, Dana. You have a purse?

DANA PERINO, CO-HOST: I do. But my problem is, I've been traveling a lot, back and forth.

GUTFELD: Yes.

PERINO: And one of my biggest problems is I'm always looking for a lighter purse that has more space and more pockets and more organization. I just don't know if I could -- the weight of a gun.

GUTFELD: The Glock that you have now, though - she has a Glock, which is beautiful.

PERINO: I'll show it to you after the show.

BECKEL: Let me tell you. If this idiot convinces everyone to buy -- do you know how many husbands would be shot down there?

GUTFELD: That is a sexist comment.

BECKEL: You think so? Really? Fifty percent of the divorce rate in this country, you think you give women guns and you don't think husbands will be dead? You would be dead.

GUTFELD: That might be a good point. But you're basically saying women can't handle fire averages, only men can.

BECKEL: I didn't say that. Go ahead.

TANTAROS: That is ridiculous.

BECKEL: I didn't say it. This is what I mean. This is why I always get chat on here. I didn't say it.

TANTAROS: As my 10th grade biology teacher used to say to me, give the guns a rest.

OK, I would love to pack heat. But I can't living in New York City.

I would. But you see this rise in female owning guns about 70 percent in the last year because women -- it's better to have it and not need it than need it and not need it.

PERINO: Police can't protect you everywhere you go. The more you protect yourself, the more likely is it -- it's a fact whether Bob wants to admit it or not, places that have concealed carry law, the crime rate is lower.

BECKEL: That is statistically not true.

GUTFELD: That is true.

BECKEL: By the way, you are packing plenty of heat. Don't worry about it.

GUTFELD: I want to bring up -- a man shot and killed a robber two weeks ago at a parking lot at Minneapolis at food store and it just came out that he's not going to be charged.
