An arthritic rabbit in Hampshire, England, swims to ease her arthritic pain, People Magazine reported.
The rabbit, named Heidi, is 4 years old and has arthritis in her hips and knees. Since horses and dogs also use hydrotherapy, Heidi’s veterinarian suggested she swim twice a week, seven minutes at a time.
The rabbit wears a life jacket in a heated pool.
“None of us thought she would tolerate one minute in the water, but in her first session, she took to it very quickly,” said Amanda Williams, Heidi’s owner.
