No. 23 is apparently ready to go down the aisle once more.
Former NBA star Michael Jordan was spotted at the Palm Beach County courthouse Thursday morning applying for a marriage license, according to Kathy Burstein, a spokeswoman for the clerk's office. Applicants must apply in person and a license is good for 60 days. The identity of the bride-to-be was not immediately announced.
But Jordan became engaged with his longtime girlfriend, Cuban-American model Yvette Prieto, in December 2011.
It will be the second marriage for the former Chicago Bulls player. He married Juanita Vanoy in September 1989, and they divorced in 2006. They have two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James, and a daughter, Jasmine.
Jordan recently made headlines after a woman filed a paternity suit against him, which he is fighting to be dismissed.
Pamela Smith sued Jordan and asked that he take a paternity test and pay child support for her son. Jordan has said he's not the father and filed motion to have her lawsuit dismissed.
A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
