K-Rod is expected to cop a plea on Friday.

The mercurial Mets closer is due in Queens court on charges of attacking his girlfriend's father at Citi Field.

In an October court appearance, Francisco Rodriguez's attorney said they were considering a plea deal and anger management classes.

The Queens District Attorney did not say whether a deal had been reached.

The 28-year-old reliever was accused of grabbing 53-year-old Carlos Peña, hauling him into a tunnel near the family lounge at the ballpark and hitting him in the face after a game Aug. 11.

Rodríguez also was charged with criminal contempt for violating a restraining order by sending his girlfriend, Daian Peña, dozens of text messages after the incident.

Based on reporting by the Associated Press.
