Matthew Tkachuk is only 18 years old but he has NHL bloodlines (his dad is former superstar Keith Tkachuk) and is already proving that he belongs in the league. The Flames rookie scored his fourth goal of the young season on Wednesday night, and it was a beauty.

In the third period against the Coyotes, Tkachuk gathered the puck off a Flames face-off win and found himself with an opening for a shot on net. It wasn't a particularly great opening, considering Tkachuk was essentially carrying the puck on the goal line and had an incredibly sharp angle to work with, but he fired away anyway.

That turned out to be a good decision.

The teenager unleashed a perfect shot over the shoulder of Arizona goaltender Mike Smith, tucking the puck into a small window and into the back of the net for the game-tying goal. It was an absolute beauty of a snipe. It was also pretty important, as Tkachuk's goal ultimately helped Calgary force overtime and win the game 2-1.
