New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - New Orleans forward Anthony Davis and Cleveland point guard Kyrie Irving were named NBA Players of the Week on Monday.

Davis took home Western Conference honors after averaging 31.3 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 4.7 blocks in three games. In the Pelicans' only loss of the week, a double-overtime loss to Denver, Davis posted 36 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists and nine blocks

Irving led the league with 37.3 points per game during a week that saw the Cavaliers go 3-0. He set a new career high with 57 points in an overtime win against the defending-champion San Antonio Spurs. He also averaged 4.7 assists, 4 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game.
