Wide receiver Austin Collie and veteran long snapper Brian Jennings were among the final cuts made by the reigning NFC champion San Francisco 49ers on Saturday.

Collie, beset by several concussions over his short NFL career, has totaled 173 catches for 1,845 yards and 16 touchdowns the last four seasons for the Indianapolis Colts.

Jennings provided the long-snapping duties for the club for 13 years.

Wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins, who spent five seasons with the Titans and signed with San Francisco in the offseason, was also among those released.

The others were: offensive tackle Carter Bykowski, cornerback Marcus Cooper, tight end MarQueis Gray, wide receiver Chad Hall, running back Jewel Hampton, linebacker Joe Holland, wide receiver Chuck Jacobs, linebacker Travis Johnson, cornerback Darryl Morris guard Patrick Omameh, wide receiver Kassim Osgood, nose tackle Mike Purcell, safety Trenton Robinson, fullback Jason Schepler, safety Michael Thomas, guard Wayne Tribue, quarterback Seneca Wallace and tackle Kenny Wiggins.
