Despite a win, Woods doesn't get the red carpet treatment at Players Championship

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – One night after making his red carpet debut in New York, Tiger Woods returned to a course that has treated him very well over the years.

Woods is playing for the first time since the Masters when he tees it up this week at The Players Championship. He has won only once in 15 years, and has only one top-10 finish since that victory in 2001. Woods describes the TPC Sawgrass as a tricky course.

Woods was at the Met on Monday night with girlfriend Lindsey Vonn. He was in a black tux, and the Olympic ski champion wore a long white dress with see-through slits. Woods says the experience was different. He says he was there to support Vonn as she tries to grow her brand.
