A share of the Big East regular-season title will be at stake when the No. 2 Notre Dame women host No. 3 Connecticut.

The Fighting Irish (27-1, 15-0) will be seeking their second straight outright Big East title. The Huskies (27-2, 14-1) are looking for a share of the league title and the top seeding in the league tournament. Connecticut has dominated the overall series with 29 wins in 38 games, but the Irish have dominated of late.

Notre Dame has won five of the past six meetings, including a victory in the Final Four the past two seasons.

UConn coach Geno Auriemma says the Huskies enter the game and the Big East tournament feeling good about how they are playing.
