TUNE IN: Watch a special 30-minute edition of NASCAR Race Hub at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT tonight on SPEED as the Hub looks back at its 'Best Of' content from 2012.

Tony Stewart is somebody never far from the headlines.

A three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion, Stewart has also enjoyed tremendous success as co-owner of Stewart-Haas Racing, owner and promoter of Eldora Speedway, owner of championship-winning open-wheel cars and as an entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Stewart won three Sprint Cup races in 2012, scoring victories at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Auto Club Speedway in the spring and at Daytona International Speedway in the summer.

Although he was not able to win another championship this year, Stewart qualified for the Chase for the Sprint Cup for the sixth consecutive season and the eighth time in nine editions of NASCAR’s playoff round.

In just its fourth season, Stewart-Haas Racing has already become one of NASCAR’s elite teams. Next year, SHR will expand to three full-time teams with the addition of Danica Patrick, and in 2014 Kevin Harvick is expected to drive a fourth SHR Chevrolet.

In the above video, NASCAR Race Hub goes behind the scenes to give you All-Access to Stewart.
