A boy’s joyful reaction to being told he’s cancer free after 1,167 days of treatment has touched hearts across the country after his mother posted a video of his response on Youtube.
Casi Morris shared the news with her son, Ben Morris, 7, as the boy and his brother stood on the stairs. His first reaction: “Can I still go to camp?”
According to the family’s Facebook page, the Oklahoma boy was diagnosed with pre-B acute lymphoblast leukeumia on March 22, 2013. Be underwent treatment at St. Francis in Tulsa.
In the video, posted June 1, Casi said that Ben had one month more of taking medicine nightly, regularly checking his blood sugar and going to the hospital. The video has received over 200,000 views.
