It's always fun to watch a fan make a half-court shot or score a goal from the red line at a hockey game to win a car or some cash. It happens every so often, but there are also plenty of misses in-between the makes.

For the Orlando Solar Bears hockey team, however, there weren't any failed attempts. The ECHL franchise ran a contest for the first time on Thursday night, giving one fan a chance to win $100,000 by making a shot from the far blue line -- 115 feet away.

Oh, and the goal was covered by a board with a tiny cutout in the front just larger than the puck. And of course, the guy drilled it to win the cash.
