Desperately needing shooting, Reggie Bullock came to Los Angeles with the 25th pick.

He will get an opportunity right away with Chauncey Billups and Matt Barnes both possibly on their way out the door via free agency. New head coach Doc Rivers could insert him in the starting lineup immediately if he wants to keep Jamal Crawford as an elite bench player.

You'll see a lot of comparisons to fellow Tar Heel, Danny Green. It's hard to draw parallels because Bullock will make the team, no doubt, and could see huge minutes right away.

Green toiled in the D-League and on Cleveland and San Antonio's bench for years before he emerged this season, especially in the postseason. Plus, Green had the benefit of Gregg Popovich as his coach.

Don't be confused, Doc will coach him up well, but Bullock has to put in some time before he gets favorably compared to his fellow alum.

But the Clippers did nicely with this pick. Now, all they have to do is convince Chris Paul to re-sign and they should be back in the hunt for the Pacific Division title.
